Tea Break: Mighty Leaf Tea ‘Beatles’ Blend Tea’

The Beatles with a Cuppa

The Beatles with a Cuppa

I’ve been drinking Mighty Leaf Tea “Beatles’ Blend Tea” for over a month now.  At first I wasn’t sure about it – I felt it maybe too fruity for my liking.

A few cups later – it’s now been proven to be a perfect way for me to settle down to enjoy my summer nights after a long day at work.  Not only that, but it’s the perfect mix of my life’s love’s.  Tea and music!  Especially music from The Beatles.  So creative Mighty Leaf Tea!

Beatles’ Blend hearkens back to the roots of the Beatles’ homeland. You start with traditional Earl Grey, and then add in a rich, malty tea from China, reminiscent of an English Breakfast tea.

The blending of an Indian tea that speaks to the Beatles’ avid fascination with and travels to India. Finally, topped off with a twist of jasmine culminating in a blend destined to become a star.

Mighty Leaf Tea’s “Beatles Blend”

Mmm…it’s lovely.  Aromatic and very soothing.  You can really taste the layers in this tea like a robust lil cake.  You can drink this tea plain or with milk which makes it even richer.

My three fav ingredients are in the tea:  bergamot, black tea, green tea and jasmine.  So English and indeed Indian.

Just an additional note, the Beatles’ Blend, can be drunk in the afternoon, with dinner or as an iced tea. Try pairing with spicy and nutty foods. Makes an excellent accommodation with strong cheeses, fish, meat or game.

Mighty Leaf Tea has done it again.  Who doesn’t like The Beatles……Blend?  ;)

Tea Break: Mighty Leaf Tea ‘Verbena Mint Organic Tea’

Verbena Mint Organic Tea

Verbena Mint Organic Tea

I’m starting a new lil feature on Thirty Four Flavours dedicated to enjoying tea, coffee and finding time in your day to honour a hot drink ceremony while being present in the moment.

Let’s start the first ‘Tea Break’ feature with a tea from Mighty Leaf Tea.  ;)

If you are looking for some tea that’s a neat lil pick me up to your afternoon ‘dip’ pick up a stash of Mighty Leaf’s “Verbena Mint Organic Tea”.  It’s gorgeous.  ;)

Relax and renew with Verbena Mint Organic after a long day or curl up with your favourite book and a cup on your last break of the work day or lounging on your couch on the weekend.   It pairs well with buttery pastries and chocolates too.  Who doesn’t have a stash of chocolate tucked in their cupboards?

The origins of this tea is from France and Morocco.  Bien sur.  Can you imagine transporting oneself abroad whilst savouring the verbena and mint combo?

Yours in tea,

Mel xo
